After his homophobic and xenophobic speech Glaad isn’t buying Chris Jericho apology because at the end he was incentive and worn. I’m not going to say he was something about religion but it was something about his personal beliefs because nobody is going to make fun of something sensitive about the personal orientation or the heritage of some people unless you are a skinhead and maybe Jericho is that at the end a plain skinhead who don’t mind offending anyone.

GLAAD said that they aren’t buying at all any of the words of the wrestler because the apology was more offensive than the actual insult.

A Brazilian bricklayer reportedly killed in a car crash shocked his mourning family by showing up alive at his funeral.

Relatives of Ademir Jorge Goncalves, 59, had identified him as the victim of a Sunday night car crash in Parana state in southern Brazil, police said.

As is customary in Brazil, the funeral was held the following day, which happened to be the holiday of Finados, when Brazilians visit cemeteries to honour the dead.

What family members didn’t know was that Goncalves had spent the night at a truck stop talking with friends over drinks of a sugarcane liquor known as cachaca, his niece Rosa Sampaio told the O Globo newspaper.

He did not get word about his own funeral until it was already happening on Monday morning.

A police spokesman in the town of Santo Antonio da Platina said Goncalves rushed to the funeral to let family members know he was not dead.

“The corpse was badly disfigured, but dressed in similar clothing,” said the police spokesman, who talked on condition of anonymity as he wasn’t authorised to discuss the case.

“People are afraid to look for very long when they identify bodies, and I think that is what happened in this case.”

Sampaio told O Globo that some family members were not sure the body was Goncalves.

“My two uncles and I had doubts about the identification,” she told O Globo. “But an aunt and four of his friends identified the body, so what were we to do? We went ahead with the funeral.”

The police spokesman confirmed there were doubts: “His mom looked at the body in the casket and thought something was strange. She looked and looked and couldn’t believe it was her son,” Sampaio said. “Before long, the walking dead appeared at the funeral. It was a relief.”

The body was correctly identified later on Monday, the police spokesman said, and has already been buried in another state. He declined to release the actual victim’s name.

AllGood also is suing John Branca and John McClain the specials co-administrators of the Jackson State as well Frank Dileo because he acted as a booking agent and he even promised that a Jackson 5 reunion would happened but AllGood didn’t expected that Michael Jackson was going to die and now they are wanting retribution. In a serious debate about Jon’s parenting skills (America needs to focus on more serious issue on the media and not a single man father skills because there are worse individuals in the country that are nastier fathers than Jon Gosselin).

Jon tried to defend himself but Nancy said the real deal about Jon as a person and the image is giving to the public as a self absorbed individual who thinks about himself and not his children. Way to go Nancy and people stop throwing more fire to the Gosselins.

According to tmz.com LeeAnn Rimes hit and run incident had been closed and will not be facing criminal charges because of the incident in Brentwood after she had an altercation with her boytoy boyfriend actor Edie Cibrian and after that she took a car that wasn’t her and well everyone knows the rest of the story but at least opposite to Hale Berry she was friendly with the cops and to her luck the car was insurance so there wasn’t any major dramas after the incident.. but LeeAnne was involved in another fender bender except this time she was being chased by the paparazzi and she pulled a Lindsay Lohan by crashing with another car but at least for LeeAnn the police decided to close the case because they decided there wasn’t any crime to charge the singer. 

With all the political and social progress in Europe maybe Ukraine didn’t noticed that in almost the rest of the countries of Europe gay and lesbian can adopt but it seems Ukraine is one of the few exception because if you are gay and/or single and above 45 years old you can’t adopt so ask that to Sir Elton John who wanted to adopt an Ukrainian 2 years old boy named Levi who is HIV positive, which the singer met in a visit to the country a few months ago and was enchanted with the little champion.

But, Ukraine authorities as soon knew that Elton is a gay man decided to negate the adoption process because he is gay, above 45 and in Ukraine civil unions between to people of the same sex aren’t recognized at all thus by consequence they can’t adopt or have the same privileges they have in countries such as United Kingdom or the Netherlands and even an undeveloped country as Colombia in South America recognize same civil unions (under certain jurisdiction) so I guess at the end the Ukrainian Officers decided that it was better for an HIV positive boy to live and die in an orphanage rather to be place with a loving couple who could made his last years more easy and joyful only because the people that wanted to adopted him were two men. Shame on you Ukraine!.

Siete grupos de la ciudad están nominados entre las 22 categorías que resalta a lo mejor de la música colombiana. Ellos son: Dragón y Caballero, Neotrópico, Jerau, Frankie Jazz, Rioba, David Milán y la cuota folclórica con Totó La Momposina.
Lo mejor es que ninguno compite entre sí. Cada artista o grupo está nominado en categorías diferentes, mostrando la variedad de la música que se hace en la ciudad.
Esta sería la octava entrega de los galardones a lo mejor de la música colombiana que se realizará el próximo siete de octubre en el Palacio de los Deportes de Bogotá.

El jurado será el propio público, pues desde el pasado fin de semana, a través de la página web www.premiosshock.com.co, podrán votar por sus artistas nominados favoritos.
Los Premios Shock no podían ser ajenos al reciente fallecimiento del Rey del Pop, Michael Jackson, por lo que el show central estará dedicado a él.

Dragón y Caballero están nominados en tres categorías: Mejor Artista o Agrupación Urban Style, Mejor Canción Radio por “Fruta Prohibida” y Mejor Álbum del Año con “Se siente bien”.

Neotrópico está nominado en la categoría Mejor Artista o Agrupación Pura Sabrosura con el primer álbum “El trópico nunca sonó igual”, que contiene éxitos como “Sube y baja”, “Candelilla” o “Pedacito de cielo”. “El simple hecho de la nominación ya es un triunfo”, expresa Roberto López, vocalista y compositor de la agrupación, quien no oculta su emoción porque este año los grupos y movimientos cartageneros están pisando fuerte en la música colombiana.

Gerardo Rodríguez “Jerau” también concursa en la categoría Mejor Artista o Agrupación Tropical Pop, mientras que la agrupación Rioba, compite en la categoría Mejor Artista o Agrupación vuelta a Rockombia.

En la categoría Mejor Artista o Agrupación Rock, el grupo Frankie Jazz es la cuota cartagenera, de la mano del vocalista José Vergara.

Como Mejor Nuevo Artista o Agrupación, el cartagenero David Milán ocupa una nominación con su álbum “Corazón a mil”. “Siempre es un honor estar nominado en los premios nacionales y más aún, cuando los premios son un reconocimiento del público”, expresa el cantante.

Totó La Momposina, oriunda de Talaigua, corregimiento de Mompox, está nominada en la categoría Mejor Disco de Folclor.

Entre los artistas nacionales nominados, la contienda está entre la música pop de la caleña Fanny Lu y el vallenato de Silvestre Dangond, con cuatro nominaciones cada uno.

 As a guy who had lived in different places over a two decade span I been amazed by local customs such as manners or what you see when you go in to the market; going into the market I can see the customs of the people and how how many people are self absorbed into their own ideas. One of those ideas that I tend to find amusing is that people believe they will save the environment by not accepting plastic bags (even if those plastic bags are recycled) because they say that it produce more pollution and more trees are killed, well there is one fact that is true by not accepting you are making a difference but it’s just a minor difference due the reason is that supermarkets will continue to produce those plastic bags because they are part of their service and part of their trademark and the only way that those bags are stopped to being produced it’s by people gathering signatures so the company change their policies about plastic bags, but now there is no difference at all plastic bags will continue to be produced as the aforementioned reasons so buying those reusable bags it’s just another excuse to make more money but if you want to make a difference just recycle it’s more easy and it will have a more direct impact on an ecosystem.

People tend to think what they like to think without thinking about the ultimate or real consequences, much of the masses behavior it’s based on the consumerist theory where the latest trends tend to mark people ideas and if the latest trend is eco-friendly people will be more happy because they will think that they are making a change into to the environment or if the latest trend regards about “eating healthy” (organic to say a more concise word) people will go into a frenzy because they will think that the new organic brand will act more positive to their bodies… sure! If you don’t regulate how many calories you eat and you don’t do exercise your body won’t notice the differences between the “organic” and the average brand and by the way the Food and Drugs Administration don’t recognize the term “organic food” and they even say that you must trust in your known brands rather than going to buy a product that is labeled organic because they can be misleading just to generate more profits as people will buy “organic food” because they will think it’s more “healthy” and if they compare the “organic products” to a any other one they won’t even see any special differences.

It’s true maybe I am a stranger in paradise or maybe I’m just a fish out of water.
