Once Upon a Time In Texas - Episode Review

Published by glequericac at 2:48 am under Television Show Reviews Edit This

Once UponNo wonder that after the Writers Strike of 2008, one of the most promising shows on television started to suffer a slow decay on his ratings because the network started to save money in order to produce Heroes (a show that basically survives because of the CGI) and now after 3 seasons the show it’s starting to suffer the Charmed Effect by cutting the budget that once made the show amazing and also cast members now it was the time of Adrian Pasdar to say goodbye to the show and soon in my opinion Ali Larter and Sendhil Rammamurthy will have the same fate as Adrian Pasdar because their characters are already burned out, so at the end the show will consist of seven cast members which making an interesting story about the characters they play will be difficult.

I assume in order to improve more the rating and to bring some of the old audience back to the show, the producers decided to bring back Jayma Mays to portray one of the iconic characters of the show that gave a stoicism perspective to Hiro Nakamura about his future actions on saving people and now that Charlie is alive again, much of the previous arcs are mostly annulled because of this red herring. The episode was ok but it wasn’t great either, the show is taking a more slow approach and it’s becoming more boring gradually to the point that every episode less people are tuning up. I don’t know how the paradox of Saylar/Nathan is going to be resolved now that Adrian Pasdar is out and really how the writers are going to keep the show fresh with little resources. I don’t know and I don’t know if the show will last for a fifth season, it’s a miracle that there is a fourth season right now. Maybe the focus that NBC should take is to give more budget to the show that saved the network on prime time.
