According to tmz.com Dr. Conrad Murray is going to back to his practice today November 23 of 2009, although not with his practice he will be going to work at the Armstrong Medical Clinic in Houston, Texas but don’t expect that is a big hospital because the clinic it’s mostly like an underground club that only a few known about it.

Conrad Murray will be remembered as the live-in physician who was at the moment of the death of Michael Jackson and the responsible one of buying the propofol (the same drug that killed the singer) and is the same clinic that the police raided a few weeks ago searching for the anesthesia. I won’t even trust this man to treat for a common cold and do you?

The sequel of Twilight and second movie in the series “New Moon” is a little bit different than the first one directed by Catherine Hardwicke as Catherine took a more romantic approach in the narrative of the movie than Chris Weitz (the new director) who in New Moon moved Catherine’s point of view of the Stephenie Meyer’s books to a more Harry Potter environment to appeal more on the teenagers market in terms of visual aspect as well dialogues but that doesn’t mean the movie is bad.

As in the books the movie takes where the first movie left, on her 18th birthday the Cullens throw a birthday celebration to Bella, everything goes smoothly until Bella paper cuts with one of the presents she receive and the smell of her blood make Jasper overstimulated and he tries to kill Bella because of the smell of her blood. In order to protect Bella, the Cullens decide to move from Fork without any warning to Bella, which leaves Bella depressed and heartbroken because her boyfriend is gone. Soon Bella relearns to enjoy her time alone and learns a couple of new hobbies but she feels the loneliness that Edward left in her heart but doing those thrill hobbies let her to hear Edward voice in her head. Months pass and Bella finds comfort in Jacob Black who slowly ease the pain and void that Edward left but there is a secret that Bella finds out about Jacob really soon that he and his friends are a pack of werewolves who are protecting Bella from Laurent and Victoria due the events of Twilight.

Even with the changes in the narrative dynamics the movie still has many of the romantic elements saw in the first one but those elements that were present in the first movie in a sub-context are in New Moon in a major context taking out the elements of a supernatural thriller into something more melodramatic such as a supernatural romance movie. There sometimes that the screenplay tends to be rather weak and slow making a patience game to the viewer so he or she can know how the movie will end.

The movie itself isn’t disappointing, it’s quite enjoyable to be light and don’t expect a masterpiece of the seventh art as the reason is New Moon is a movie aimed to teenagers and not adults but also if you are a fan don’t expect the same quality that was observed in the first movie because the work of Catherine Hardwicke to take to a new level the Twilight books isn’t there anymore but overall is worth to spend a couple of extra bucks and have a really nice time to go and watch this movie.

Even if it’s not the actual dessert in the photo it can give you an idea about the newly invention of four Colombian gastronomy students invented a dessert composed of Viagra and Passion Fruit called Espuma (Eng. transl. Foam) who was exposed in the last week Culinary Fair of Bogota.

Juan Sebastian Gomez one of the creators of the dessert explained that the idea came from an academic project that had the idea to create a meal for seniors and after a brainstorm Espuma was born as an energizing food that seniors can consume to revitalize their sex life in a more delicious manner.

The four students presented their creation in the last Culinary Fair; they said that after experimenting with different flavor and with a large group of volunteers they decided to use Passion Fruit because it was tasty to the plate rather than other contemporary flavors but at the moment of giving samples in the fair they tried to be ethical about the content of the product but they found a niche between woman who liked the product so much that they ate the dessert slowly and tasting every single ounce of the flavor. Sounds crazy but it’s also an innovative idea to consume a pill that sometimes can be taboo regarding some bed manners.

Dr. Conrad Murray bought five containers of Propofol one month before the death of Michael Jackson.

Murray admitted in the police interrogatory that in the eve of Jackson death (June 24th) that he gave Propofol to the singer; the information was published through a judge in Las Vegas an since the singer’s death the Police and the Federal Authorities had tried to link Murray with Jackson death because it was the drug that killed the singer.

In the case of the physician, a receive was found in the house of Murray of the pharmacy “Applied Pharmacy Services” with the transaction of five containers of Propofol, the same drug that killed Michael Jackson. The doctor became the live-in physician of Jackson until his death and the authorities haven’t presented any charges toward Murray because they can’t link him with the murder (common you have all the evidence!).

According to Murray Michael was a frequent user of Propofol because Jackson suffered from sleep disorders and he tried to put an end to Jackson’s addiction.

The Museum of History and Science of Florence assured that two fingers and a tooth of famous Italian Astronomer Galileo Galilei where discovered by a private collector. Knowing the story everyone knows that in 1737 after Galile’s death three of his finger and some of his teeth where exhumed from his tomb and preserved as relics but tracking the so called relics over the centuries has been a little bit difficult over the years and proving the authenticity of the relics is going to be difficult.

Paollo Galluzi, the Headmaster of the Museum said that a private collector got the relics in a private auction a few years ago and the collector communicated with the Culture and Education Offices of Florence before communicating with the museum Headmaster to return back the relics of Galileo. The Museum of History assures that the relics match with description of ancient documents that described the relics.

Guess that Galileo had the last laugh, not only he was right but he’s more famous than any Pope in history. 

The Twilight Saga newest movie broke the midnight record previously established by Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince by achieving US$26.27 Mill and Harry Potter had only US$22.2 Mill showing the movie at midnight of Friday but it has to be seen if New Moon can beat in general to the sequel of Batman: Begins “The Dark Knight” which had US$67.2 Mills on his first day in general but it had only US$18 Mills on the first night at 3.040 theaters opposite to New Moon which opened at 3.514 theaters which maybe can explain why it broke the record in theory, because it opened in more theaters than Harry Potter and Batman: The Dark Knight.

The screenings of Twilight 2 will increase during the weekends to 4.000 theaters which will double the amount of screens that it will be shown up to 8.000 movies approximately.

According to tmz.com the show Entourage is plagued with a terrible environment to work because actors and crew go from throwing racial, religion, sexual and any kind of slurs toward anybody. Actor Rex Lee spoke with TMZ about he being the target of several gay and ethnic jokes from his co-stars but he didn’t said any names but he expressed “I try to not be bothered by the comments”.

After Lee confession the creator of the show Doug Ellin told tmz that he would be speaking with the crew to try to put the gossips and bullying at ease (much like high school). But what can you expect Rex when you are working with some of Hollywood biggest douches?. 

According to Roman Polanski lawyer, his family is suffering since the director’s arrest in Switzerland; the lawyer expressed that Roman’s wife Emmanuelle Seigner and their two young children are feeling depress because of these events that maybe can lead to the director deportation to the United States because of the 1970 sex scandal with a 13 years old that today she’s asking that the charges to be dropped because she wont stand the pain of passing by the same trauma again and she fears that her reputation will be tainted because her name can go to the public light.

As I said previously this case has many victims, every single one of them in different spectrum of the case but Roman needs to face the truth and go to trial. The lawyer affirmed that the director won’t accept the extradition and they are trying to search for another alternatives specially since their first two attempts of bail were denied and that the French director hasn’t complained about the situation. I’ve been a supporter of Judith Pinedo’s administration but this is way too much how can they spend $700.000.000 Pesos (Roughly US$ 400.000) In this awful Christmas “decoration”? Common with that kind of money there should be enough to decorate the entire Downtown of Cartagena and pavement a few of the streets in the city that you can pass by because of the holes and even so far to give one week long breakfast, lunch and dinner for thousands of families but instead all that money was spent to put this shitty ornaments? That smells to me of bad money handling. Shame on you Judith Pinedo
