This choral ensemble from Ireland is probably one of the best in a capella music and traditional Irish songs. The choral was ensemble by Michael McGlynn who is also the main composer and arranger of the group; also his brother John is one of the main singers in the group.
One of the most popular songs from the group is the ballad of Dulaman, based on a traditional Gaelic poem by the same which has spawned several covers worldwide with several artists such as Celtic Woman which they cover the song from the point of view of a woman. Here a small sample of Anuna Work.

The worst: The low point at the Oscar was the sloppy, lame, not funny, terrible cameo of Jennifer Aniston and Jack Black; I can even say that Jack Black is not funny, and those ad-lib he made were extremely lame, terrible and out of place I can bet that improvisation will cost him some future presentations in the future; and poor Maniston, she don’t have the fault to be paired with such a lame individual. So uncool.
The best: Heath Ledger won, and the speech from his mom, dad and sister was touching, sure he will be missed and he can rest in peace that his young child Matilda will be ok.

“Never going to give up you up, never going to let you down, never gonna run around and desert you…” those are part of the popular lyrics of the internet phenomenon known as the RickRoll’d or Rickrolling if you were victim of Rick, but what is a RickRoll’d?. Well, there are many theories about the RickRoll, one of them can be traced up to the phenomenon duckrolled which it was picture that showed a duck in wheels or with Bel Air’d which it can be considered as antecessor of the RickRoll’d, but other theories and the most common one as well the most accepted can be traced to the forums of 4Chan.com where the meme started as a joke related to the video clip of Grand Theft Auto IV.
But the truth is that everyone loves to be RickRolled because when you are Rickrolled you want to do it to other person as well, is like a vicious cycle that would never end; although I prefer to compare it to the Ring Virus the only way to take out the curse is to pass it to someone else and thus the “curse” will never end because everyone at the end is going to be RickRolled sooner or later, and well… that is one partial truth, in YouTube almost 30 million people and counting had been RickRolled and because of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade almost 50 million people where massively RickRolled when Rick popped out of Foster carriage. So at the end what is going to happen?, everyone will be RickRolled.

Who said that money didn’t corrupt?, he was wrong, money can corrupt people and if you are young, with money and being the child of a famous person can corrupt you i.e. Miley Cyrus; being only 16 (God forgive me for what I’m going to say, specially being 24) can act as an spoiled, egocentric, self-centered, xenophobic bitch, is terrible to see that a “role model” like Miley has a power of influence over young girls, specially with her dubious program Hannah Montana which don’t reflect anything of Disney, which she acts as an a sassy “foul-mouthed” who can do anything because she is a rock star.
Her new incident, showed to the public how cruel this spoiled 16 year old girl can be, a really terrible individual who don’t hesitate to mock at anyone, I guess Seinfeld can search for inspiration for new jokes if he sees Miley, especially he can make a parallel between the Puerto Rico incident and the Chinese Miley-Gate. Miley should know if she is a celebrity she has to be careful about what she does and what she speaks because she is going to be under the scrutiny of the masses 24-7, and people are not happy with the behavior of this girl. I guess Perez Hilton was right, she is only there because she is only a celebutar, but at the end Miley show how awful people are, and if we have to judge a child by the reflect of their parents, the only thing we can see is that Billy Ray Cyrus is a shallow individual.

Ok, so this week in comics it wasn’t that bad, at least for Marvel which is the only one I collect. Let see, New Exiles ended, and well as you could knew they cancelled the title but at least they tried to leave an open ending but I hate Kat being killed at the end, what happened to the happy ending many of us we were expecting? I guess we can’t complaint either as Chris Clermont did his best but the good news is that the series will be re-launched on April 2009 (so I guess is going to be a good birthday present for me). The Dark Avengers are going ok so far, the writing is really good and at least I can say that Brian Bendis is doing something great about the “lazy” Secret Invasion ending and as always Mike Deodato is doing a superb job with the art.
Other title that “ended” this week was NYX, but with the open ending is no strange coincidence that sometime in the future we will see a continuation of NYX: No Way Home. For Young Xmen and Uncanny X-men, they were ok, not the best of the week but at least they gave information about another possible future of the Marvel Timeline (I wish that this future is not going to be rebooted) but I can say that Messianic War is going to be cool; and last but not least Legacy is going downhill and I hope that issue 222 is going to be way much better.
And what can I say about next week? I don’t know, because I am trying to think what I will collect in a near future as the economical crisis is putting a string in my pocket

What can I say about this movie?, it sucks, one start I give to this movie because is extremely predictable, the acting is horrible and the ending was a bad red herring that nobody took by surprise, but what can you expect with a sequel?, specially an horror movie sequel, I can say don’t expect nothing because all those movies, all those new movies are clones from Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th. None of those new horror/slashers movies like Bogeyman or his respective sequels they don’t give anything new to the genre because they reuse plots and archetypes over and over, that at the end they can be boring and damage the horror/slasher genre. I recommend to avoid watching this movie by any means and if you want to get scare watch something of Japanese horror or something of the 80’s they are far way more better.

Angelina Jolie is not a saint, but she is a person, a famous one and she is under the public scrutiny 24-7, a whore? No, just a woman who fell in love with her co-worker and it was impossible to deny the chemistry between both of them. Angelina Jolie is not a saint in any way but an interesting person from the 21st century who has tried to give something to the world without asking anything in exchange; we can say that Angelina is polemic but at the same time humble about her fortune and luck and is a quality that has appealed to the public, because they can relate to her. (at least she is not Salma who has a milking problem)

So today I went to the County Fair, Hillsborough County Fair; really cool and really flashy, it was my first time and I could saw and live another side of entertainment, ambulant entertainment, it was really fun and I had a good time, even if at first I went looking for a job that was advertised in the newspaper, but at the end it was only a fake add in my opinion but still I did had a good time even if my objective changed.
As a first timer, I have to say that I was surprised to see that a… what I think a County event had religion sponsorship; I got surprised to see that a fair is an element to evangelize and most of the time that I could saw the religious groups use facades to cover the real element of their mission, to evangelize without the consent of the people 99% of the time. I want to say that I am not against any religious organization but if they are going to use dirty tricks to attract followers then I have to say “pity those fools” who don’t respect civil liberties.
As a newbie I ended in a stall who I thought they were promoting something cool, something innovating that you could only see in a County Fair, but at the end it was a façade to promote some “unknown” undenominational Christian group that ended talking about is terrible to lay and if I lie I go to hell; wow!, like if I didn’t knew those basic concepts of religion, hey! Before going to Theravada Buddhism I was a good old Christian boy, I know those concepts and when my patience ended I used one of my favorite resources sorry Sir I don’t speak too much English, and my somebody is calling me; bullcrap my tolerance ended when they started to speak about is ok to tolerate other people but they are going to hell because they don’t believe what we believe, so at the end I stood up and marched out.
So what can I say?, go to the County Fair, eat a cotton candy, go to the roller coaster and find religion, but be aware because some “sects” will use a masquerade to spread their message.
