Actors Review: Branko Tomovic
Talented is the word to describe this multifaceted entertainer, but probably many of you haven’t heard of this painter and German actor named Branko Tomovic. His works with independent filmmakers, short movies are quite exceptional, really interesting to see and he recently started to appear in major Blockbusters such as The Bourne Ultimatum and the upcoming remake of the Wolf Man but only in minor roles.
His most recent upcoming movie A Road Apart by Olivier Kaempfer, is about two men who have some personal connections in their past and they found each other in an apart road in Italy, the previews look good but in terms of acting we see a similar facet of Branko, as he plays the misunderstood individual, a role that he has play in the past, we can even classify him as a character actor due his choices.
Other aspect of Branko, as it was said previously, he is a painter, if we have to classify his work we can tell he has influences from the German expressionism, drawing in a grotesque form but yet human, as he blends with gloomy and dark colors to give a melancholic expression; amusingly Branko signs his work with the Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, I dare to say as a homage to both of his parents as they are Serbian.
If you are familiar with Branko’s work you had probably seen some of his work in films and painting, and he have to say as we said on the beginning of the article, he is indeed a talented entertainer.

What a lovely review! He is indeed a very talented actor. I just saw him in the Jack the Ripper thriller “Whitechapel”, he was brilliant and gave a terrific performance as the spooky morgue man! I found this here on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCOj5OAag2I
