Heroes, Comics turned into Television
As many of us today, we were waiting in NBC for the premier of season 3 of Heroes, we couldn’t wait to see it since the second season was a deception due the writers’ strike and we had the story cut, but now with the premier of Villains we see Heroes former glory that wasn’t shown on season one, but still it carried some of the ghost that were shown on season, on the terrible season 2, but at last we know who shot Nathan Petrelli, and it was a divergent Peter from another time line, I know is bold from me to say this but this season of Heroes is a tribute to the X-Men storyline Days of The Future Past, in which the alternative Peter Petrelli play the executioner and hero of the events, similar as Kitty Pride in the comics, I say season 3 is more a homage DofP because with the assassination or attempt of murder of a politician, see the similarity of Nathan and Senator Robert Kelly who both represent a key in the future of humanity.
The evolution of the characters is more clearly seen now, even with the first episode we observe that Claire doubts about her powers, such as Hiro who is clearly disturbed about the possibility that Ando can kill him, but the two best moments of the first two episodes were in my opinion, knowing Angela’s power (precognition) and what the process of how Sylar assassinate his victims, we know that he cut their heads in half and “ate” their brains, but we weren’t so sure about it, but now we could saw that he only manipulate the brains as if he was manipulating an object so he can understand how the power of their victims works, we can assume that most of his victims don’t die at the moment but rather die of the blood lose, as the possibility is that the technique can kill due the shock and pain.
The only negative comment I have toward Heroes is, stop giving Sylar superpowers he is already powerful enough, even if he lost much of his previous acquired abilities he is still probably one of the top villains ever, he is as powerful as Nimrod, but I guess the writers won’t be happy until he is as powerful as Apocalypse, but now I wonder what twist will come to Saylar, if he is going to redeem himself or if his going to be the ultimate villain, I guess my worries with Sylar, he started as an interesting character but if the writers don’t plan very well he can turn into a pastiche of a 50’s villain.
But there so far so now, I can see that the best is about to come and I can’t wait to see it!.
