Kenny Vs. Spenny: How Real is it?
Kenny Vs. Spenny, one interesting television show made by Canadian filmmakers Kenneth Joel Hotz and Spencer Nolan Rice, as many so called realities is promised that the footage is real without any alteratations, but as many realities there is a component of edition to make it appeal it to the audiences.
We see the classical archetypes of every story, the hero and the villain (although in this case is the looser rather than a villain), it interesting how the debate with a series of competition to see who is better than the other, some competition are extremely bizarre but they have a great entertainment factor for the audience, like the one Who can Sit on The Cow The Longest?, or Who is the Better Woman? all competitions from Season One, but as the Seasons went further the competitions grew to be bizarre such as Who can Wear a Dead Octopus on his head? or Who can Make A Better Porno?, those episodes on season 4 , and not to mention the strangers penitences or humiliations are they are called in the show when one of both loose a competition are even stranger and outrageous when the seasons move, probably that’s the reason why many people think the show loose his reality factor and turned into bizarre show similar as Springer.
Still I don’t care what people think, I’ve been fan of KVS since the beginning, even if it’s all an act I enjoy a lot seeing Kenny’s antic and Spenny looser role, even is this show is an act is still funny and can make a lot of us laugh.
