Kenny Vs. Spenny, one interesting television show made by Canadian filmmakers Kenneth Joel Hotz and Spencer Nolan Rice, as many so called realities is promised that the footage is real without any alteratations, but as many realities there is a component of edition to make it appeal it to the audiences.
We see the classical archetypes of every story, the hero and the villain (although in this case is the looser rather than a villain), it interesting how the debate with a series of competition to see who is better than the other, some competition are extremely bizarre but they have a great entertainment factor for the audience, like the one Who can Sit on The Cow The Longest?, or Who is the Better Woman? all competitions from Season One, but as the Seasons went further the competitions grew to be bizarre such as Who can Wear a Dead Octopus on his head? or Who can Make A Better Porno?, those episodes on season 4 , and not to mention the strangers penitences or humiliations are they are called in the show when one of both loose a competition are even stranger and outrageous when the seasons move, probably that’s the reason why many people think the show loose his reality factor and turned into bizarre show similar as Springer.
Still I don’t care what people think, I’ve been fan of KVS since the beginning, even if it’s all an act I enjoy a lot seeing Kenny’s antic and Spenny looser role, even is this show is an act is still funny and can make a lot of us laugh.

I’ve been thinking lately about how reals are realities?, but I guess that question has been answered several times, but in the other hand, I been wondering what lies behind the marketing strategy of MTV of capitalizing young wealthy teenagers as if they are from the common majority, my only answer so far is that MTV is no longer the force it was and became a machine of conformism, loosing the power of Generation X/Y.
There are several shows on MTV, that glamorize the mamma’s boy and daddy’s girl stereotype and they try to set the standard that those stereotypes are normal for every young boy or girl. Probably MTV was never a force that spread the message of Gen X/Y but it was more and is a machine that is in the search of money by any means. I guess maybe, those old shows like the Liquid Animation, and by consequence Aeon Flux; Daria and many other, plus the popularization of Nirvana and Pearl Jam where completly meaningless because they where trying to make money with the beliefs of a generation.
So, who is really MTV?, I guess is only another channel who is trying to sell terrible message to a new youth about behaving like brats is the best way of getting anything, i.e. Laguna Beach or the terrible My Super Sweet Sixteen… talking about the last one I have never understand what is the point of this show?… show that with money and winning you can get what you want?, what about teaching independence and self respect? I guess MTV don’t want to educate young children or teens, or in a worst case adults, about self sacrifice and perseverance in life.
One of my worst fears is that Hypodermic Needle Theory is completely correct about how the mass tend to accept as a total the message of the media, and we are seeing the rise of people who don’t need to think by themselves or have a personality because the media dictates how do you need to act.

Lately on the cartoon network adult block, we have seen plenty of live action comedy oriented to a teen focus group or at least to an adult group who loves nonsensical jokes with a lot of inconsequential between one gag and another. There plenty of examples we can follow, such as Saul of the Mole Man or Fat Guy in the Internet but we are not going to focus on those show, our subject of analysis is the self congratulatory show named Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job.
The show itself is quite interesting, and it has a large repertoire of guest stars comedians such as John C. Reilly, Zach Galifianiakis, Michael Cera and many others. Probably the negative factor critics aim at the show, is the title, many show titles never express such an auto congratulatory expression, neither Mr. Show and that is probably something critics don’t like because they probably think it’s better to be humble when naming your show, and if the show doesn’t work then you will be the joke of the industry by having too much ego to put the awesome word and great job in the title.
In reality, I don’t like too much this show if I have to recommend it I would say no, I never saw the Tom Goes to Mayor to compare, but this show for me is a little bit boring, the nonsensical gags and the off time continuity jokes tend to exasperate me, but I guess the show have found some cult following because is going to his 3 season this November, so probably there is someone who really likes this show… or maybe cartoon network is running out of ideas.

With the dawn of Secret Invasion, and Destiny Manifest and the nightfall of Divided we Stand, we see a new crossover between the X-Factor and She Hulk, that have the title He Loves You, the same phrase The Skrulls mutter before going insane in battle. The idea of this crossover is to explain better the famous phrase of the battling Skrulls, there where many theories about the battle cry that went from an idealism to religious fanaticism; which all the hints aimed at the religious fanaticism and it was later correct during the development of the XF and She-Hulks crossover.
The He Loves You, come of the religious idiosyncrasies of the splinter religious cell of Skrulls who are trying to conquer Earth, to be more specifically this mutter is similar as a God Bless You; you can see a partial explanation by Jazinda in She-Hulk #31, where she tells to Jennifer that within the Skrull religious system the man who is an almost representation of their Gods, the one making a cross line we can compare to Jesus in the Skrull theology is called Nogor, and making another comparison with reality we can see some fanatics within the comic taint the Sacred Belief to justify a war or a conquest.
Is not much that has been revealed in the second issue of the Crossover, but we hope it will be expanded the explanation the last volume.

Secret Invasion is probably one of the most interesting works from writer Brian Michael Bendis, because behind the fantastic iconography of the Marvel lies a hidden meaning that contextualizes actual international events and the philosophy that is taken during war periods.
At first I was a little hesitant to buy the comics because I am not a fan of Brian Michael Bendis, I decided to buy only monthly issue of this new saga but not the tie-ins’ due the reason I didn’t wanted to spend my money on something I probably wouldn’t like at all, but still I wanted to collect it. To make a little recap about who is Brian Michael Bendis, probably the best way to make a relation is with comic book cross-over House of M and the Ultimate Spider Man series. Brian is one of the most high profile comic book writers in the industry and along with Mark Millar had launched several of the most contemporary works in the marvel company such as the Ultimate comics; his writing style is often irreverent, includes allusions to contemporary events and avant-garde in terms of storyline.
As many of his works, with Secret Invasion, Brian shows an allusion about how war can take the worst of people, such as religious fanatics (i.e. The Church of Hala or the Skrulls claiming that the planet earth is of them by religious right, also not religious right can interpreted but also as the concept of destroy and conquer), conquer and destroy any culture of civilization due political or economic interests (I am not going to say any specific example about this, because they are far too many to tell), the violation of the privacy and security (it is seen when the skrulls infiltrate to spy on the Earth population such as many governments use the spying techniques to have an advantage over their enemies; but also you can see one positive point of view that no matter the situation everyone should fight to defend their beliefs and freedom.
It’s to know that comics are not aimed at children at all as many popular beliefs say, in reality when you really read in a deep matter a comic book and analyze the background and possible interpretations about the subjects, even if they are mixed with heavy sci-fi, many of today comics portrait the multiple realities that are seen in the actual world.
